The Saraswati International Sanskrit Foundation (SISF)
is dedicated to the preservation, study, practice and
transmission of india's rich knowledge traditions.
SISF functions as an *International Centre for Sanskrit
Studies and Research, bringing together
*manuscript preservation, traditional education,
scholarly research, and knowledge transmission*.
*Knowledge survives not merely when its
sources are preserved, but when there are people
capable of understanding, practising, and transmitting it.*
WHY WE EXIST
India's knowledge traditions live in two interconnected dimensions — the textual heritage preserved in manuscripts and the living traditions of learning transmitted from teacher to student across generations.
Our mission is to safeguard both the sources of knowledge and the living traditions through which that knowledge continues to be understood and transmitted.
